Atlanta Attachment Promotes Fonts To Vice President Of Marketing

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA – Mattress and home furnishings sewing equipment supplier Atlanta Attachment Co. has named Eugenio Fonts vice president of marketing.

In his new role, Fonts, who has been with the company for over 15 years, assumes responsibility for the company’s marketing department in addition to his current role of leading Atlanta Attachment’s international sales efforts. Fonts reports to Hank Little, President.

Prior to his promotion, Fonts was Vice President of International Sales, managing the company’s international sales and formulating campaigns to meet global sales and profit goals. He will continue in this role, designing and leading sales and marketing programs and defining short and long term sales strategies.

“Eugenio is a valued member of our leadership team, and the addition of responsibility over the marketing function is our way of recognizing the contributions he has made and will make to the success of our business,” said Little. “His knowledge of four languages ​​(English, German, Portuguese and Spanish) and his ability to adapt our sales programs to many different cultures around the world are particularly important. Fonts joined Atlanta Attachment in 2006 as an International Sales Manager, responsible for designing and recommending sales and marketing programs and defining short and long term sales strategies. In 2014, he was appointed Director of International Sales, Managing and Leading the Global Sales Force, and became Vice President of International Sales in 2016.

Fonts’ career in the clothing and equipment manufacturing industry began in 1977 at Rori International, a men’s clothing company based in Caracas, Venezuela. He served as chief engineer, chief technician, maintenance manager and production support executive. In 1995, he joined the German company Durkopp Adler where he held the positions of sales advisor, sales director, business development director and product manager for the manufacturer of industrial sewing equipment.
