Chrono Cross Remaster’s font options change the look of its script

Square-Enix offered more insight into the things people can change Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreams Edition. Again, these are previews of the visual options. Users will be able to choose the appearance of the script with font options in the Chrono-Cross redo, as well as make backgrounds smoother.

First is the update Chrono-Cross font option showing one way the script could appear in the remake. It also includes the updated character portrait for Leena.

Here’s what the more classic option will look like with the standard definition option. It also features original art by Leena.

Next are the two looks at how background filters can change the look of the game. First, here’s one with the filter applied.

This is one of many looks at the Chrono-Cross Square Enix remaster offered ahead of launch. Before that, it also showed some of the differences between the character models. People will be able to go with original or updated versions of them. At the time, only those of Serge and Kid appeared.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreams Edition will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 7, 2022. Other newly added features include the Radical Dreamers: The Forbidden Treasure gameplay and the ability to enable or disable enemy encounters.
