In memory of Guru Dutt: a man ahead of his time
Rashmi Sabale presents this interactive session, with visuals and film clippings by Guru Dutt. She will highlight her relationships with various Urdu filmmakers, poets and composers of her time. His way of looking at Indian society and his thoughts on his films like “Chaudhvi Ka Chand”, “Mr & Mrs 55” and “Pyasa Kagaz Ke Phool”. among others. Rashmi worked with All India Radio Varanasi as a senior announcer and newsreader. She is an artist who is also passionate about poems.
